Welcome to Kanawa Island Diving/Wunderpus Liveaboard
Welcome to Kanawa Island Diving a PADI 5 Star Dive Center
Sadly from the 30th of June 2014 Kanawa Island Diving will be closing, but this does not mean we are not still diving ! Instead we are moving our operation to our new custom made Liveabaord diveboat called Wunderpus ! The same great team that have been so highly praised as Kanawa Island Diving will now be offering you even more adventure and a wider choice of divesites onboard Wunderpus. The boat is amazing and we are offering great deals during this season so dont miss out !
The boat is custom made in a traditional style with all the modern comforts and conveniences. We aim to keep groups small so we only offer 4 double cabins, maximum 8 guests with maximum 4 divers per Divemaster/Instructor during the dives. Each cabin has air conditioning, fan, charging points, ample storage and ensuite bathroom with hot water shower
We have an air conditioned salon for meals during wet weather as well as tables on the maindeck for dining under the sun or stars. Our chef will prepare 4 meals a day for you, mostly asian cuisine with occasional western dishes. The salon also has a flats reen TV for looking at the days videos/photos’ or watching a movie at night.
All the safety equipment onboard of course, life raft, life jackets, GPS, Satellite Phone, Marine Radio and Oxygen as well as top quality dive equipment from Mares, Apeks, Aqua Lung and a Bauer Compressor.
Diving in Komodo is an experienced diver’s dream! Observe graceful manta rays, brave the currents with sharks, watch beautiful coral flow by on a drift dive, and marvel at the abundant diversity of marine life which makes Komodo National Park some of the best diving ever! If its been awhile since your last dive or you are a newer diver we’ll take you on an easier site for the first dive to make sure we can choose the best sites for your level and safety, so plan enough days to fit in all the excellent diving. This is why we have maximum 4 divers per group also so we can put people with similar experience levels together and even have each group diving different sites at the same time if needed. If you want to find out more please contact Ed on firstname.lastname@example.org or check out our facebook page for photos and latest news.
